Your dog can be a HERO!! By donating blood your dog can help us save lives.

​Your dog may qualify as a donor if he / she is:

​- healthy and weighs 27kg or more,
- friendly and docile
- between 1 and 9 years old,
- fully vaccinated
- has never had previous blood transfusions

As a gift to say thank you, blood donors receive from Pierre van Ryneveld Veterinary Clinic:

- free annual vaccination including
- 1 deworming treatment annually
- blood donor tag
- free treats after each donation
- free blood transfusion if needed in its lifetime
- feature on our blood donor wall of fame
- 5% discount on all treatments and purchases

Blood donors will be asked to donate blood once a year. The donation normally takes no longer than 30 minutes.
